BB Partnership have obtained planning approval and listed building consent approval from Uttlesford District Council for a new detached house within the grounds of a Grade II listed property in Hatfield Broad Oak.
Prior to making a full planning and listed building applications we applied for pre-application advice for the principal of a new dwelling and following a positive response to the pre-app worked with the consultant team in order to make the full application.
Two of the key issues to address on the site were the existing trees and the vehicular access to the site, therefore the application for pre-application advice also included input from a traffic consultant and a tree consultant, this then ensured that the following the pre-app response the client had confidence to proceed with the full application as the main issues relating to the site had been considered.
Following the application we liaised with the planning team at Uttlesford District Council and the Essex County Council Place Services in order to obtain a positive result.
The project consultant team working with us consisted of –
