Grade 2 listed building located in the Barnsbury conservation
Located in the Barnsbury Conservation Area of Islington, the Grade II listed building had been previously used as a members club and was in a poor state of repair, the scheme reverted the use back to a single dwelling house.
Having obtained planning and listed building consent from Islington Council the existing ground and basement extensions were demolished and replaced with a contemporary glazed extension that formed an internal courtyard. The roof of the extension was installed with an extensive green roof.
Internally the house was completely renovated.
